'Devil Love' is the first incarnation of the band. These recordings were done in 2016 and originally released (albeit briefly) as ‘Peter Buzzelle and The Academy’ and the album was entitled ‘Devil Love’. We shortly there after decided to just call ourselves ‘Devil Love’. In 2022 we revisited the master recordings. The majority of the record is how it was recorded and mixed in 2016. However, select tracks got re-envisioned. 'Straight To You’ was a surprise result of this process. Also ‘In A Breath Of Farewell’ was given new life. We have been performing a lot of these tracks live since 2016 and now Red on Red has given the record a long overdue proper release.
